End Church is a welcoming Christian community of people who have discovered Jesus. End Church invites people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the timeless rhythms of faith and life with them.
We have a timeless and vibrant faith – expressing the vibrancy and beauty of the various Christian traditions from throughout the ages.
We value clarity and mystery – holding in tension the clarity of truth revealed in the word of God and person of Christ, and the mystery inherent in spirituality.
We embrace curiosity – welcoming those who are intrigued with what they see, wherever they are in their journey to discover what they believe.

We see a church that is overflowing with people from all walks of life who have personally experienced the transformative power of the Gospel.

We see a vibrant church in West End that is influencing and impacting the inner city of Brisbane. We see a church with a vision to reach out to and serve the nations of the world.
We see a church where people have a conviction that Jesus has entrusted the Great Commission to them personally.
Leadership
The pastors of End Church are Glen and Maureen Cochrane.
They love each other, their family of four adult children, and the people of West End and inner city Brisbane.
They each discovered the reality of a faith in Christ as adults and know what it is to find a new beginning. Their passion to help the spiritually curious find their own new beginning through discovering Jesus Christ is what has motivated them to start a church in West End.
They may not have met you yet, but they’re praying for you, and look forward to meeting you.
Who We Are
End Church is a part of the AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES, which is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world.
The Assemblies of God in Australia was formed in 1937 and has experienced consistent growth. It adopted a new name of Australian Christian Churches in 2007 and currently consists of over 1,000 churches with over 280,000 constituents, making it the largest Pentecostal movement in Australia.
In our churches you’ll find vibrant, contemporary Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and express that love in lively praise and worship and in caring relationships. Australian Christian Churches are Bible-loving, evangelical and Pentecostal, and are about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
We share in the beliefs of the Christian Church, so wonderfully expressed in the Nicene Creed.
The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
